Full-time · CoreX Engine Developer (Remote)

Work Arrangement

  • Location: Remote
  • Type: Full-time employee
  • Contract Entity: WindyVerse Pte. Ltd. (Singapore)

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop core modules of WindyVerse's in-house CoreX engine, including the rendering pipeline, asset system, and runtime
  • Build high-performance low-level systems in Rust and design interop with the CoreCLR scripting layer
  • Design and implement the deferred PBR pipeline, GPU culling, post-processing, and other AAA-level features
  • Cross-platform (Windows / console / mobile) performance tuning and troubleshooting

Basic Requirements

  • Several years of experience developing commercial or open-source game engines
  • Proficient in Rust or C++, with a solid grasp of low-level memory and concurrency models
  • Familiar with modern graphics APIs (Vulkan / DirectX 12 / Metal) and rendering pipeline fundamentals
  • Able to independently drive module design and delivery, with strong engineering discipline

Preferred Qualifications

  • Led rendering, asset, or scripting subsystems for a shipped commercial engine or AAA project
  • Experience with .NET / CoreCLR integration and native-managed interop
  • Deep expertise in graphics, compilers, GPU programming, or physics simulation
  • Track record of contributions to open-source engines or graphics projects

Freelance · Vehicle 3D Artist (Remote)

Work Arrangement

Main Responsibilities

  • Create 3D models of armored vehicles (tanks, IFVs, etc.), including exterior and interior modules
  • Recreate details based on reference images, blueprints, and materials, complete LOD, UV, and textures
  • Design and model internal systems such as engines, ammunition racks, optical equipment, and crew compartments
  • Collaborate with technical artists to ensure resource optimization, rigging, and animation workflows in-game

Basic Requirements

  • Proficient in hard-surface modeling using tools like Blender
  • Familiar with PBR workflow and texture tools like Substance Painter
  • Interest in military vehicles, mechanical structures, or industrial design

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in game vehicle model creation
  • Knowledge of Unity resource import and optimization workflows
  • Knowledge of mechanical rigging or animation

Unity Environment / Terrain Artist (Yokohama · Full-time / Contract)

  • Project: Realistic multiplayer game themed around tanks and armored vehicles
  • Engine: Unity (URP environment)

Main Responsibilities

  • Build various battlefield maps using Unity, including cities, forests, ruins, and hills
  • Create environments with historical authenticity and realism based on military facilities and historical context
  • Design terrain layouts including cover, line-of-sight blocking, and movement routes based on gameplay needs
  • Use terrain and vegetation tools to design efficient terrain creation workflows
  • Adjust lighting, post-processing, and performance to continuously refine scene presentation and frame rate

Basic Requirements

  • Experience in 3D scene / terrain creation in Unity
  • Knowledge of Terrain, Prefab layout, Lighting, LOD management, etc.
  • Interest in military, military history, or weapons
  • Ability to communicate with the team in Japanese or English

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in map creation for vehicle-based games (tanks / aircraft, etc.)
  • Experience in scene optimization and resource management in URP projects
  • Experience with terrain creation tools like World Creator
  • Strong in conceptualization and research of military facilities, urban layouts, or natural landscapes
  • Familiar with DCC tools like Photoshop / Blender / Substance
